ジャン＝ポール・ラプノー（ Jean-Paul Rappeneau、1932年～ ）はオーセールに生まれ、1960年代にルイ・マルの助監督や共同脚本家として映画界でキャリアをスタートさせた。1966年には『城の生活（Le vie de château）』で監督としてデビューし、以後かなりの寡作ではあるが、カトリーヌ・ドヌーヴやジェラール・ドパルデューといったスターを起用した話題作を制作している。
